Maybe, you should explain exactly what you mean by that.

I would say that on any forum, there are those who can get swooned over by someone, and in a sense be a supporter, but I wouldn't say a follower.

There may be a few remote people who would do that..

But most would follow their own path.

I don't think here, its that much different than any other site.

Why do you ask?

thinking of starting a family?

There are plenty of people I like on here, but following? Nahhhh.

If someone I consider as an e friend, is mean to others, I’ll let ‘em know. I just had a situation with someone who is respected by most on here, but I saw her disgustingly mean side, and I let her know how I felt, for all to see. Some people seemed to blow me off after that, meh, oh well.
People I’ll never meet are not worth trying to “fit in” with. I don’t know them, and they don’t know me.

The only ones I can think of on here, who became followers are:

Sparks
Heather
Pat
Sammy
Korbyn
and a couple of others who followed some guy named mikey and mass flagged people at his command and did a few other diabolical schemes for this mikey guy.

Well...divide 7 into the rest here and you come up with just a few are capable of being coerced into following someone.

Meaning the answer is no.

If you abide by societies rules and laws (or a good portion of them), pay your taxes etc...you're a follower.

The only "real non followers" are those living off grid, and being off grid they don't have the ability to respond.

They have either been thought of by someone else or inspired by the thoughts of others...again "on the shoulders of giants"

EDIT: but regarding the stupid masses, no they have never had an original thought or action.

they weren't as accepting of rebels as they are now. if you go against the grain like everybody being a rebel isn't being a rebel at all. so technically they're just like me now. if I'm becoming more conservative you'd say I'm a follower.

no...you can be part society and follow some of it, but not all of it and simply follow your own path, when it differs from how society see's it.

So...it is following society part of the way?

Or following your own path and part of that path agrees with how society does it.?

then there is a different between following and abiding by, because you don't want to end up paying a price they set, that you can't get out of.

In this case, it boils to a matter of your own choice and free will:

Am I willing to take that chance and pay the price or not?

If you follow ANY part of it, you are a follower

Everyone on Earth is a follower, they all follow something, be it a set of rules, a religion, a philosophy etc etc.

You folk are just generally too dumb to understand that.
